Painting California: Seascapes and Beach Towns

Paintings of the California Art Club

Book

This new art book, published by Skira Rizzoli, features the work of 200 top artists from the California Art Club and serves as a delightful tour guide of the coast of California, from north to south. The 276-page book focuses on the evocative seascapes, charming seaside towns, and beach communities that can be found in our beautiful state, from San Diego to Crescent City (at the Oregon border). It also fulfills the role of historian, giving glimpses into California’s past through the original artists of CAC.

As a contemporary California-based artist, Cathey is thrilled that two of her seascapes (Synchronicity and Stormy Sunset, Malibu) are included in this book! Please check it out and buy a copy for yourself. It would also make a wonderful gift as a coffee table book.
