This painting depicts a summer sunset at Leo Carrillo Beach in Malibu. I have stood on that cliff many times in awe of the blindingly bright golden glow.
The title of the painting comes from the Bible scripture Job 36:30 “Behold, He spreads His Light upon it, and covers the bottom of the sea.” The image symbolizes the spreading of the Divine Light of Yeshua Ha-Mashiach (Jesus Christ) to all the nations.
